Overview
The UltraCare XT Quick-Ship electric bed from Joerns is a top of the line, luxury bed package that is exclusive to SpinLife. This bed features a standard roll in low option. The UltraCare XT Quick-Ship comes standard with a standard function hand control which can be mounted on the right or left side of the bed depending on the patient’s preference. The Standard Hand Pendant has 6 buttons of operation to facilitate raising and lowering of the head and feet as well as the overall height of the bed.
The Advanced Staff Control and AdvanceCare Hand Pendant has 8 buttons which also facilitates raising and lowering of the head, feet, and overall height of the bed. In addition, the Advanced Care will also move the bed into the Comfort Chair position as well as the Auto Transfer position. The Comfort Chair position moves the bed into a recliner-like position convenient for engaging with guests or eating. The Auto Transfer position automatically returns the bed to a flat position and raises or lowers the bed into a safe transfer height. The Advance Care staff control can be added as an upgrade. This allows the caregiver to use the Gravity Assist repositioning function which places the head 4 degrees lower than the feet. This control is located at the foot of the bed so a caregiver can conveniently adjust the bed or lock out specific functions as needed. The staff control and has 12 buttons, four of which are pre-programmed positions. Those settings include Comfort Chair and Auto Transfer position in addition to the Trendelenburg position- great for those with circulatory issues as it elevates the feet higher than the head and heart. The bed also achieves the reverse Trendelenburg position, best for gravity feeding, and for those who may have respiratory issues.
Why We Like It
The UltraCare features QuickCare fast hi-low bed height adjustment which is not available on the EasyCare model. The QuickCare hi-low speed raises and lowers the bed in less than 30 seconds. The faster speed for raising and lowering allows the patient to get in and out of the bed quicker as well as faster adjustments to provide better safety and care.
The steel frame is incredibly strong with a 500 pound weight capacity and the widely arched legs are great for getting wheelchairs and patient lifts right up to the bed. The Roll-In-Low feature allows the bed to be moved at it's lowest height. The UltraLock wheel upgrade ensures safety and security while the bed is mobile.The UltraCare XT bed has an option for grounded controls. The grounded controls have a plug with three prongs. All facilities require grounded controls. Also standard are head and foot boards, in a Classical-style Quartered Oak Laminate finish. Also included is one Joerns Deluxe Assist handle. Additional handles are optional.These sturdy handles help you get in and out of bed, as well as turning over and repositioning while in bed.

Delivery options include Free Residential Delivery, Inside Delivery (the boxes are brought inside your home or garage), or White Glove Delivery for full set-up and removal of all packing materials. White Glove Delivery adds 5 -7 business days to the shipping time.

Joerns UltraCare XT beds are guaranteed for a period of three years from the date of delivery, against defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service.
This three-year warranty includes all mechanical and electrical components.
Steel structural components on beds are covered under warranty for a period of 15 years from the date of delivery.
Welds are covered under warranty for the lifetime of the product.
Damage caused by use in unsuitable environmental conditions, abuse or failure to maintain the product in accordance with user and service instructions is not covered. Any alteration, modification, or repair unless performed by, or authorized in writing by, Joerns Healthcare, will void this warranty.
