The Power Elevating Patient Lift from Medline comes in two sizes and is designed for transferring non-weight bearing patients. Size options include a weight capacity of up to 400lbs, (MDS400EL) or a capacity of up to 600 lbs.(MDS600EL). The lift is equipped with a 6 point craddle for sling straps which help to maximize safe transfers for both patient and caregiver. The lift's low base can smoothly slide under beds and furniture while the internal leg width of both lifts allows for access around toilets and chairs.
What Makes This Different
With two weight capacity options, the Medline Powered Elevating Lift offers buyers similar features with different weight capacities. The 400 lb. capacity has a lifting range from 8" to 65", and the 600 lb. capacity lift has a range of 8" to 71" allowing for easy floor pick-ups for a caregiver. A battery charger bag is included with the purchase of either lift which allows for easy transportation and loss prevention.
Why We Like It
Transfers are made easy with the two-button handset that raises or lowers the lift. With a simple foot operation, the legs can be opened or closed utilizing a foot pedal on the back of the lift. In case of an emergency, the control box has a large, easy to push emergency reset/stop button. Other nice features include the attractive white finish, lockable casters, and long battery life which produces 80-100 lifts on a single charge.
What You Need to Know
The lift is powered by two 24V batteries. Before using your Stand Assist Lift, the battery will need to be charged for 12 hours. After the first initial charge, the time it will take to charge your battery should be 4 hours or less. Many customers purchase the 600lb. capacity unit since it lifts 6" higher than the MDS400EL and has 10" more room between the patient actuator during lifting. The 400lb. capacity unit is best if you are limited to smaller spaces.

Your Medline Product is warranted to be free of material defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. In the event of a defect or failure covered by this
warranty, contact SpinLife at 1-800-850-0335. Medline will, at its option, repair or replace your Medline
product.
This warranty does not extend to damage or failure occurring as a result of owner misuse or
negligence, normal wear and tear, or other causes unrelated to the manufacture and design of the
product. This express warranty is Medline’s sole and exclusive warranty and your sole remedy in the
event of default or failure. Medline is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages or
costs arising from use of the warranted products, or any defect therein or failure thereof. Medline
disclaims all other warranties including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose.
